Congratulations, Betty Hendrix – Honored by American Red Cross of Central Texas

April 2011 Legend Betty Hendrix started volunteering with the Red Cross during World War II.  At the time of her Legend ceremony, she had 67 years of volunteer service – and she didn’t stop there.  This year, the American Red Cross of Central Texas Volunteer Recognition dinner honored Betty for 70 (yes, S-E-V-E-N-T-Y!) years of volunteerism.  We salute Betty as one of the great volunteers in our community – we are, truly, amazed.
