Among his many charitable activities, Eli headed a group that raised funds for a young man with cerebral palsy who was in need of a new wheelchair. Eli was able to secure more than $6,400 to purchase a specialized chair for the 14-year-old, who had not had a new chair since he was seven years old.

Among his many charitable activities, Eli Apolzon headed a group that raised funds for a young man with cerebral palsy who was in need of a new wheelchair. Eli was able to secure more than $6,400 to purchase a specialized chair for the 14-year-old, who had not had a new chair since he was seven years old. The new chair, properly sized for the growing teen, has helped his posture and range of motion, not to mention mobility.

George Eli Apolzon, 73, of Austin, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2014.
