Program Description:
The Legends Program is a monthly award to recognize a “Legend” who embodies the core beliefs of RecognizeGood through his/her exemplary acts of good. The monthly “Legend” may chose an registered nonprofit to receive a “Pay it Forward” donation through RecognizeGood: The Foundation.
Goals:
To raise awareness of the good in the community by highlighting the stories of some particularly amazing people
To increase the value of RecognizeGood the foundation in the community
How it Works
Criteria for Legend Selection:
1. Longevity of Continuous Charity Kindness Acts: Duration of the individual’s contributions in the form of acts of kindness, charity, personally giving and service.
2. Number of Good Deeds: Repetitions of the deed (i.e. accumulation of a large number of the same acts of kindness, charity, or service)
3. An Exceptional Act of Kindness, Charity, or Service: Overall impact on the community by a single exceptional act.
