Volunteer Opportunities
The RecognizeGood team seeks volunteers to assist in the following areas:
- Community Reporters- Need 200 volunteers to commit to recognize 5 acts of kindness each week. Help us update our site with compelling content about kindness. This is a virtual opportunity, so you may work from any location in the world. You may find acts of kindness in your workplace, your church, your school, your family or anywhere that you see something or someone that you would like to recognize.
- Videographers - Need 50 volunteers to commit to recognize 2-3 acts of kindness each week through video. Video will be submitted via YouTube and uploaded to the site in recognition of acts of kindness in our community. This is a virtual opportunity, so you may work for any location in the world.
- Marketing - Help research potential media outlets and blogs to cover our site, work in P.R., email our press releases and keep track of coverage of our site that has occurred.
- Promotion and Community Relations - Help promote the website by posting fliers on public message boards, and interface with online communities such as Facebook, MySpace, Craigslist, Twitter, Digg, etc.
- Content Editor - Search for compelling posts on the site to become best post of the week, best video of the week, etc. Search other sites for articles, videos, audio, columns and editorials to find content that could potentially be used on the site.
- Grant Writer – Help research grants and write and send grant proposals to foundations to fund the site.
- Fundraising – Help research companies for cause marketing sponsorship opportunities and $$ to fund the ongoing matching component of the site.

Skills
Our website is extremely easy to use. To apply for a community reporter or videographer position, please click here. All you will need is a desire to look for good and a few minutes a week to write about what you find. Computer access and simple typing skills are required.
