Vision

1. To illuminate and raise awareness of the good that surrounds our communities and encouraging individuals to commit additional acts of kindness

Co- Founder, John Bosch Jr.'s Three Inspirations

Inspiration #1 - Recently, I have been the recipient of extraordinary acts of human kindness without the expectation of recognition, due to family events. Because of my appreciation of these charitable acts, I felt that a public acknowledgement of their personal sacrifice and their unselfish deed was the only way to express the gratitude from my humbled heart.

Inspiration #2 - I have watched my wife Nancy work for years as a teacher in a economically challenged school in Austin. Always positive minded and intent on making a difference in her students’ lives, her reward (as is the reward of most educators) is from the self-satisfaction of the work itself. Because of her years of human kindness spent in Austin’s educational facilities, I wish to honor my wife, Nancy S. Bosch, as the recipient of the first RecognizeGood Award.

Inspiration #3 - During the conceptualization of this program, it occurred to me, in sort of an idealistic vision, that there are already communities in our world composed of kind individuals, compassionate companies, and caring special entities focused upon the acknowledgement of human kindness acts. By believing in the power that these communities have to potentially elevate a city’s spirit and spark a movement toward positive ambitions, I wanted to create a social forum upon which to share our daily inspirations.
