RecognizeGood is proud to announce the recipients of the 2019 Ethics in Business Awards. The announcements were made at the annual awards luncheon, held on May 23rd at the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center where nearly 700 attendees gathered to celebrate and network. RecognizeGood board members Bobby Jenkins (President, ABC Home & Commercial Services) and Earl Maxwell (CEO, St. David’s Foundation) hosted the event, in its 17th year. This prestigious award recognizes the best in Central Texas leadership on the pillars of respect, fairness, honesty, justice, and sustainability.
Finalists for the 2019 Ethics in Business Awards are as follows, with award recipients noted by asterisk.
Each nominee was vetted by hand-selected students at Concordia University Texas. Students scored each nominee based on self-assessments and their own research, narrowing this list down to 15 finalists (three in each of five categories). Next, the students began a rigorous, in-depth review of each finalist and presented their findings to an independent selection committee, made up of hand-selected Leadership Austin alumni and board members, who voted on final award recipients by secret ballot. The official ballot counter for the award selection is Atchley & Associates.
