RecognizeGood Spotlight: Youth2Seniors

For this week’s RecognizeGood Spotlight, we would like to highlight a wonderful organization called Youth2Seniors – a youth-based program that creates inter-generational programs designed to partner youth and seniors within the community to enhance each others lives and learning experience. In assisted living facilities, there are many residents who have no one visiting them. With Youth2Seniors they teach young ones at an early age about volunteering. They also give them an appreciation for the elderly and enhance the lives of many seniors! This also provides opportunity for senior citizens to share and work side by side with younger generations.

By uniting youth and seniors together, they help to build a bridge between generations. All of their programs are free of cost and open to all ages. They are designed to be mutually beneficial and are run 100% by volunteers! If you would like to become involved, or find out more, please feel free to visit their website and check them out – this is such a wonderful organization, and a great opportunity for members of all ages in our community! So please visit www.youth2seniors.org today!
